In the early winter of 2002, I went to a horse auction, and outside were these people with a box of purebred Australian Cattle Dog puppies. I had never seen that kind of dog before, so I wandered closer. Of all the squirming and yipping puppies, Jake sat still and looked right into my eyes. That did it. I bought him. The next day, I snapped this photo.
Oh, Jake is one handsome fella. I look forward to seeing future pictures as he grows. :)
ReplyDeleteJake is wonderful! This breed is very smart as I'm sure you have learned. We had one a long time ago named Billie, but I've "known" several since that time.
